The Archival Image in Rome.
We are pleased to announce that The Archival Image has been
chosen as a consultant to the Archives for Historical Documentation.
We are providing digital imaging services and Giclee art prints from
its collections.
The Archival Image has produced the digital images used to produce the
exhibition "GERUSALEMME REVELATA/ JERUSALEM RE-DISCOVERED" currently on
display next to the Coliseum in Rome. We will post the dates for the exhibit in
France, Germany and the USA as soon as the dates are confirmed. Our staff
has been invited to present two lectures at the exhibition in Rome. While we
are in Rome, we have been engaged to create 360 degree panoramas of the
ancient city.
We have begun to offer some images from the exhibit on line with more
to follow. These are the earliest photographic images of the Holy Land
produced by M.J. Diness in the mid 1800's.
